Job Summary We are seeking a part-time Tutor Poulsbo to provide academic support to students in one or more non-STEM-related subject areas. As a Tutor Poulsbo , you will work closely with students to analyze assignments, interpret discipline-specific problems, and develop critical thinking and communication skills. This is a flexible, hybrid remote arrangement, offering a competitive hourly rate of $18.20 - $24.23. Key Responsibilities Provide academic support to students in one or more non-STEM-related subject areas, including Biology, Chemistry, Composition, Engineering, English, Languages, Mathematics, and Writing. Assist students in analyzing assignments and assigned readings. Help students interpret discipline-specific problems and situations. Develop students' critical thinking and communication skills. Support students working in online formats. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications High School Graduate, Equivalent, or Current Running Start Student. Completion of course(s) to be tutored with an average decimal grade of 3.5 or higher. Basic computer competency. Reference from an instructor or professor if you are a current Olympic College student. Preferred Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships. Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
