Specialty Claims Adjuster - Lifestyle - Hybrid

Aviva Canada is dedicated to putting people first and is seeking a Lifestyle Claims Adjuster to join their Specialty Claims team. In this role, you will manage claims involving towed trailers and watercraft, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and support during challenging times. Responsibilities Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements Effectively manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with Aviva’s standards, with customer service at the forefront Create outstanding experiences for our customers, turning stressful situations into positive moments Operate within your authority, using your judgment to resolve claims efficiently Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to all Aviva Specialty Claims protocols Work closely with various teams to produce good claims outcomes, participate in projects, come with a growth mindset, and share feedback to help us continuously improve Skills Minimum 1-2+ years of previous claims adjusting experience Genuine interest in Lifestyle claims—whether it's RV's, travel trailers, or watercraft Progress toward or completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP) A post-secondary diploma or degree Provincial Licenses for the Atlantic provinces Prior Property, or Specialty claims (trailers, RVs, watercraft) experience Experience with and demonstrated ability to effectively handle complex and high value Benefits Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.
