LastPass is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer: In this role you will join the Web Cluster, which builds the web application used by LastPass end users. As a Frontend Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to implement software solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for LastPass ’s consumer users. About the Team: You will be joining the Web Cluster at LastPass , a group of experienced and motivated engineers focused on building the core web application for consumer users. The team thrives on collaboration with cross-functional experts and product leaders to deliver impactful, user-centered solutions. You will collaborate with a team of experienced, motivated engineers whose diverse skills and broad focus influence the entire engineering organization. Your work will involve close coordination with cross-functional subject matter experts and leaders to drive meaningful outcomes, as well as regular alignment with Product Managers and Product Owners on product requirements. Throughout your journey, your Engineering Manager will support your onboarding, daily activities, and professional growth. What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on? Contributing to product development by designing and delivering new features that address customer and engineering needs. Identifying and defining initiatives for the application’s technological evolution. Providing expert troubleshooting, debugging, and support for internal and customer-facing issues. Shaping engineering culture by fostering a fulfilling and customer-focused work environment. Educating, mentoring, and coaching engineers within the team and organization. What does it take to work at LastPass ? Strong knowledge and experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Proficiency in HTML and CSS Familiarity with OOP best practices, SOLID principles, and Clean Code Effective written and verbal communication skills in English Excellent problem-solving abilities Experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing, debugging, and integrating complex code Proven ability to design, build, deliver, and maintain high-quality solutions on time. Familiarity with software design patterns Experience with version control, build, and bug tracking tools such as Git, GitLab CI, and Jira Strong attention to detail and organizational skills It's great, but not required: Experience with advanced Redux middleware libraries. Experience with PHP. Knowledge of secure coding practices and building highly secure applications. Why LastPass ?
