Positions in this Function are responsible for the assessing, developing, and maintaining the processes surrounding our selection and analysis of solutions for products including networks, payment integrity and PBMs. This includes analysis of medical claim data including collection of data; verifying validity of data; analysis of data as required; and presentation of recommendations including supporting data for various customers and/or corporate initiatives. Positions in this function are responsible for assisting in developing and implementing product strategies by providing analytical support and knowledge of current processes, requirements and capabilities within the UMR Customer Solutions team. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: • Proactively assessing customer needs and requirements • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the information available • Analyzes data available to determine and recommend optimal solutions for our current and/or prospective customers • Communicate and implement changes to tools and workflows to better meet customer needs • Coordinate with business partners such as system configuration and affordability teams and other departments/segments to implement product and pricing strategies • Evaluate requests and issues raised from Sales, Account Management, Leadership and UW / Pricing staff for potential revisions / enhancements to the standard programs • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems • Solve moderately complex problems and / or conduct moderately complex analyses • Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks • Translating concepts into practice • Provide explanations and information for others on difficult issues • Coach, provide feedback, and guide others • Act as a resource for others with less experience • Collaborate with team members in developing workflow procedures, training presentations and projects as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development • Demonstrated advanced technical skills with Excel (including but not limited to pivot tables, V-Lookups) • Proven experience with Database solutions using Microsoft Access and/or SQL • Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action • Ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently and able to prioritize, plan, organize and manage work effectively with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge and proficiency in healthcare industry • Demonstrated experience with Project Management (not necessarily as a lead, but working on the project, drive the process) • Excellent interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others • Excellent customer service skills • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
