The role involves identifying patients for data registries, collecting and validating clinical data, and analyzing reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities • Identifies patients for inclusion in Data Registries through the application of strict inclusion/exclusion criteria and protocols. • Collects and validates data for the program using the applicable criteria and definitions established by the registry. • Establishes and maintains adequate work flow for data collection. • Ensures the accurate and timely submission of data into the program's website and assuring the transmission of completed data according to the program's targets and deadlines. • Analyzes the data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement. • Collaborates with clinical departments/units on performance improvement initiatives. • Other duties as assigned. Skills • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare required or graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. • Minimum five years related experience. • Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license may be required for some positions. • Familiarity with medical record documentation and mainframe systems for patient information. • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
