In this role, you will work with client facing and internal Composition teams to check the accuracy of all documents received for conversion and revision. Two Shifts Available: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM ET 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM ET Must be able to work one weekend day per week with overtime as needed. salary: $22 - $22.01 per hour shift: Second work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Perform a full quality check on various types of financial documents at the time of creation, as well as after various changes from the client, before they are filed with the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and/or printed • Compare converted documents to the original documents received from the client, ensuring that the text matches • Proofread and verify that spelling, grammar, style, and alignment are correct and consistent throughout (including job numbers, page numbers, headings, etc.) • Make sure all logos are correct and of the highest quality • Mark identified changes directly on the printed PDF proof Qualifications: • 1-2 years of experience in Proofreading is preferred, or a degree in English or similar field • High level of skill in written English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation • Self-motivated to work efficiently and meet deadlines • Ability to stay focused throughout an entire document, which may be long and technical • Good interpersonal skills to build working relationships with co-workers and internal clients • Proficiency with computers and expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite • Comfortable working with high-volumes, and capable of maintaining a fast pace • Ability to work flexible working hours during seasonal periods Skills • Proofreading (1 year of experience is preferred) • Bachelors Degree in English • Microsoft Office • Interpersonal Skills • Adobe • Written Communication Qualifications • Years of experience: 1 year • Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
