This includes but is not limited to entering new hires, updating employee information, setting up direct deposits, managing auto steps, processing terminations, and performing employee verifications. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively with our team, and adapt to the evolving needs of our payroll system. Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime as required are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, including new hires, employee information changes, direct deposit setups, and terminations. Collaborate with the Supervisor and Specialists to test payroll HCM system patches, upgrades, and modifications, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to payroll operations. Maintain strict confidentiality in all department matters, adhering to company policies and procedures regarding sensitive information. Work effectively in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Respond promptly to questions and inquiries, both internally and externally, with professionalism and courtesy. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in HCM systems, AS/400, Kronos, and other relevant technologies. Qualifications and Skills To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their ability to perform the duties outlined. Specifically: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or equivalent experience. At least 6 months of data entry experience, with basic computer skills in MS Office. Experience with HCM systems, AS/400, and Kronos is highly preferred. A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain quality focus in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent listening abilities. Willingness to work overtime, including extended hours on certain days, as dictated by business needs. Ability to lift approximately 20 lbs. and comply with all company policies, rules, and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a payroll or HCM environment, with knowledge of payroll principles and practices. Advanced computer skills, including experience with database management and data analysis tools. Certifications in payroll or HCM, such as CPP or HRCI, are a plus. Experience working in a remote or virtual team setting, with proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
