Remote Project Manager – Commercial Construction Startup Company Overview A fast-growing commercial construction startup founded in 2020 is expanding its team and looking for a Remote Project Manager to support projects across the Midwest and Mountain West. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates for commercial projects • Perform quantity takeoffs from construction documents and specifications • Analyze subcontractor bids, leveling scopes and pricing • Develop budgets, cost models, and value engineering options • Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and business development teams • Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases • Assist with proposal preparation and client presentations as needed Qualifications • 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience • Experience with projects $5M • Strong understanding of construction means and methods • Proficiency in estimating software such as PlanSwift, OST, Bluebeam, Procore, or Sage • Advanced Excel skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred (Nice to Have) • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • Familiarity with negotiated and design-build delivery methods Why This Role • 100% remote opportunity • Stable backlog of commercial projects • Competitive compensation and bonus structure • Growth path into Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager • Collaborative, low-bureaucracy team environment Please reach out to Megan at [email protected] All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
