The Account Executive will engage with municipal government leaders to enhance communication with residents and manage digital content for public-sector organizations. Responsibilities Drive new business by leading virtual product demonstrations and closing deals with municipal and public-sector organizations, including cities, counties, and townships Conduct consultative discovery conversations and customized demos with key decision-makers, including Communications Directors, City Managers, PIOs, and IT leaders, to uncover needs and influence buying decisions Tailor messaging and sales collateral to resonate with government priorities like public safety, accessibility, transparency, and civic engagement Navigate budget approvals, purchasing procedures, and timelines unique to the public sector Build trusted relationships with prospective clients and generate referral momentum in municipal networks Skills You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a strong record of achievement 1-3 years of experience in SaaS sales Prior experience selling into government (municipal, state, or federal) You're a skilled communicator who can gain buy-in from diverse stakeholder groups You're curious and proactive in learning how different government departments operate You're comfortable navigating longer sales cycles and public-sector buying processes Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Retirement 401(k) with employer match Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Mental Health Reimbursement Unlimited paid time off, including seasonal (December) company-wide time off Paid parental and medical leave Company Overview Powering your school's identity.
