We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, customer-focused primary care/adult medicine/pediatric teams for Evernorth Care Group across the Phoenix Valley. The work hours are typically Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and you will be working across various primary centers including Arrowhead, North Valley, Palm Valley, Paseo, Sun City, and Sun City West, with secondary centers being Paradise Valley, Phoenix Central, South Mountain, and Westridge. As a Registered Nurse, you will have all of the responsibilities of the Medical Assistants and LPN in addition to being the clinical arm of your department. You will triage patient calls and concerns, make outreach calls to patients post-hospitalization and after visiting the emergency room. Supporting the clinician to help manage the complex healthcare needs of patients is crucial, as is leading and supporting the back and front office staff with regards to patient concerns or center needs. You will maintain supportive relationships with multi-disciplinary team members to provide the best comprehensive care possible for our patients. Your role may also include drawing blood from ports, starting and maintaining simple IV infusions, assessing and triaging immediate response events within the clinics, and supporting LPNs clinically throughout the day. You will help answer questions, concerns, and requests, either in person, through our EHR and patient portal, or by phone. Ensuring day-to-day operations in the clinic and using your organizational skills to manage the healthcare needs of our varied patient population is essential. You will accurately follow all policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service, practice in alignment with the scope of your licensure, and properly document your efforts of all the care and information provided to our patients. Additionally, you will need to appropriately manage ambiguity and recognize appropriate ways to deal with conflict management, along with all other duties as assigned. Requirements • RN License to practice in the state of Arizona , • High school diploma or GED certificate , • BLS Certification , • Excellent customer skills and a deep care for providing empathetic, quality care to customers , • Previous experience in a healthcare environment , • Experience working with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry into electronic health record systems.
