Job Summary The Product Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of business value through the creation of quality products that drive sales, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business partners, to assess market needs and develop products that meet those needs. Your expertise in product management practices and agile methodologies will be essential in driving success in this role. Key Responsibilities Strategy and Planning (30%) Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform product strategies and priorities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product goals with business objectives and company priorities. Translate business objectives into product requirements and roadmaps, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder buy-in. Identify opportunities to improve the user experience, and develop processes and systems to drive product innovation. Develop and maintain business cases, product roadmaps, and requirements documents. Determine the business value of expected product updates and prioritize features based on customer needs and business objectives. Product Delivery and Launch (40%) Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product requirements are met, and quality control processes are followed. Remove obstacles and roadblocks that can hinder product teams, ensuring timely and successful product launches. Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including executive leadership and business partners. Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. People Management (30%) Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to product managers and team members. Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a high-performing product team. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop individual development plans. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product team. Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications 8+ years of experience in product management or a related field. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in product management, specifically in a modern software development environment. Expertise in agile methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Deployment. Experience with user research, testing, and analysis to inform product decisions. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with product management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
