Job Summary Progressive Technology is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pharmacy Operations Lead to oversee and streamline our pharmacy operations. This pivotal role involves leading a team to ensure efficient and compliant processes across pharmacy services, improving operational performance, and driving excellence in customer and patient care. Key Responsibilities • * Lead and manage daily operations of the pharmacy team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to regulatory standards. • * Monitor and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. • * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, procurement, compliance, and clinical services to support integrated care models. • * Analyze operational metrics and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions. • * Oversee inventory management and vendor coordination to ensure timely availability of medications and supplies. • * Ensure all pharmacy practices align with company policies, federal/state regulations, and industry standards. • * Train, mentor, and support the development of pharmacy staff; foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement. • * Handle escalated operational issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement sustainable solutions. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (PharmD preferred). • * Current and valid pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory. • * Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, healthcare compliance, and regulatory standards. • * Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams. • * Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • * Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments. • * Proficient in pharmacy management software and data analytics tools. • Experience • * Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. • * Experience in a healthcare technology or managed care environment is highly desirable. • * Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, FDA, and DEA standards. • Working Hours • * Full-time position (40 hours/week) • * Monday to Friday, standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs • * Occasional weekend or extended hours may be required during peak times • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • * In-depth knowledge of pharmacy practice standards and healthcare operations • * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action • * Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • * Skilled in conflict resolution and change management • * Commitment to quality, compliance, and patient-centered service • Benefits • * Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses • * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • * 401(k) with company match • * Paid time off and company holidays • * Professional development opportunities • * Employee wellness programs • * Remote work flexibility depending on business needs • Why Join Progressive Technology?
