Partner Sales Executive, Windows (at Amazon)

The Consumer Channel Sales team leverages relationships with retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms to expand reach, drive device and software adoption, and deliver Microsoft experiences at scale. We focus on enabling partners with marketing, incentives, and readiness programs to maximize sell-through, drive share growth, and create the best customer experiences across the consumer segment. As a Partner Sales Executive, Windows (at Amazon), you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end business strategies, marketing plans, and promotional activities for Amazon. You will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure that Windows products have the best assortment, placement, pricing, and merchandising at Amazon. You will also manage forecasting, reporting, and analysis of Windows device sales and performance at Amazon, while partnering with the PC ecosystem to achieve key metrics in a growing industry. You will be a key contributor to the overall device sell-thru, share growth, consumer experiences, and customer satisfaction goals. Experience developing and leading projects start to finish across many groups. Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure clarity. • Solid written and verbal communication skills. • Extensive collaboration skills - ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific goals. • Proven analytical experience with sales, trend analysis, assortment planning recommendations, forecasting market and market share, assortment development to help drive accurate sell through forecasts. • Proven track record of developing Joint Business Plans and Strategies for new business development and product launches. • Creative thought leadership to continue evolving the business to meet the needs of our partners and end customers. • Understanding the consumer and marketplace dynamics, especially in an online environment, impacting the computing ecosystem. • Requires an individual with broad skill-set encompassing excellent sales & relationship management capabilities. Must be able to communicate and manage at all levels. • Other competencies include: Drive for Results, Problem Solving, Planning, Organizing and Coordinating, Decision Making, Creativity, Communication Skills, Negotiation and Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Representing Microsoft and Cross Group Collaboration. • This position requires 25% travel. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR equivalent experience. • 1+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities. Additional Or Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 9+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR 12+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR equivalent experience. • 3+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities. • Experience with managing online retailer partnerships. Partner Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
