Based on your interests, qualifications, and available job opportunities you may be placed in one of these specialized areas while maintaining core pharmacist responsibilities. #everydaybetter Key job responsibilities Core Responsibilities: • Implement/ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations • Maintain compliance with Amazon Pharmacy operational guidelines/procedures • Document professional communications/interactions appropriately • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills • Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness • Participate in quality assurance activities • Provide clinical guidance/support • Work with other healthcare team members/pharmacy staff • Support interdepartmental communication and workflows About the team About the Team: • We're seeking talented Pharmacists to join our team in various roles, including Pharmacy Services, Clinical Customer Care, and Fulfillment operations, allowing you to work in a department that is a best fit for your skillset. • Join our innovative pharmacy, where we leverage AI technology to enhance patient care while using advanced entity recognition to reduce errors and accelerate delivery times. We offer same-day deliver through sustainable methods including e-bikes, electronic vehicles, and drones, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. • Each Full-Time L4 Staff Pharmacist is offered a standard, competitive Compensation & Benefits package: o Estimated total compensation of $140,000 annually o Earn up to $157,000 annually with shift differentials (if applicable) o Wide-ranging Benefits that sets industry standards BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations • Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills Physical Requirements: • May require the ability to lift up to 20 lbs (role-dependent) • May require extended periods of standing or sitting PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • 1+ years of retail or mail-order pharmacy experience • Experience in customer service or clinical consultation • Additional state pharmacy licenses Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
