This responsibility includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience./pulli id="isPasted"Complete scans effectively and efficiently:ulli id="isPasted"Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure/lili id="isPasted"Select the most appropriate, cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient’s abilities and condition/lili id="isPasted"Screen the patient for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before the patient enters the magnetic field/lili id="isPasted"Position and prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures/lili id="isPasted"Select appropriate immobilization devices/lili id="isPasted"Review the patient’s chart and the physician’s request to determine optimal scanning parameters for the suspected pathology/lili id="isPasted"Prepare and administer contrast agents in accordance with state and federal regulations/lili id="isPasted"Enter necessary patient information to initiate the scan(s)/lili id="isPasted"Assess and monitor the patient’s physical and mental status throughout the procedure/lili id="isPasted"Review images to determine if additional scans will enhance the diagnostic value of the procedure/lili id="isPasted"Document diagnostic, treatment and patient data in the appropriate record.
