Mid QA Engineer – Data, ETL Testing
Job Description: • Perform source-to-target data validation using SQL (manual and automated). • Validate transformations and ensure data completeness across ETL pipelines. • Test ETL workflows, dimensional models, and reports. • Execute ETL processes using scheduling and data integration tools. • Develop and execute data validation test plans. • Identify, document, and resolve data quality issues with engineering teams. • Ensure data consistency across multiple reporting systems. • Implement QA automation frameworks for data testing. • Partner with business analysts, data engineers, and QA leads to define requirements. • Support testing infrastructure under Lead Data QA Engineer guidance. • Prepare detailed reports on data validation results and quality metrics. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field. • 2–7 years of experience in data warehouse or ETL testing. • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, and Data Quality concepts. • Proficiency in SQL, RDBMS , and ETL validation. • Experience validating reports in Tableau, Power BI , or similar BI tools. • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Willingness to provide off-hour support when required.
