The Virtual Tutor will provide one-on-one or small group instruction tailored to students' learning objectives. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans, delivering engaging virtual tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to students. Tutors will maintain regular communication with students and, if applicable, their guardians to ensure educational goals are met. -$25-$30/hour -Flexible Scheduling -Remote Qualifications • Strong expertise in mathematics tutoring. With prior experience. • Experience in creating lesson plans, formative assessments, and providing individualized instruction is recommended. • Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms and tools (Zoom, Teachworks, or similar). • Excellent communication, patience, and time management skills. • Having already obtained a bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one, advanced degrees or teaching certifications are a plus. • Prior tutoring or teaching experience in an online or in-person setting is recommended. • Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging virtual learning environment. • Access to a reliable internet connection and an appropriate remote work setup.
