Mac OS X & Apple Device Administrator - Remote & On-Site Roles

Job Summary Apple Inc. is seeking a skilled Mac OS X & Apple Device Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with a deep understanding of macOS, iOS, and Apple ecosystem management. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apple devices, ensuring seamless integration with corporate systems. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can support both remote and on-site operations while optimizing Apple device performance across enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • * Device Administration: Configure, deploy, and maintain macOS and iOS devices across the organization. • * Troubleshooting & Support: Provide first-line and advanced support for Apple hardware and software issues. • * MDM Management: Administer and optimize mobile device management (MDM) solutions like Jamf, Apple Business Manager, and Intune. • * Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, encryption, and access controls to ensure compliance with company policies. • * Software & System Updates: Manage updates, patches, and application installations across Apple devices. • * Integration & Automation: Develop automation scripts for device deployment, software installation, and configuration management. • * User Training & Documentation: Educate employees on best practices for using Apple devices and create detailed documentation. • * Collaboration with IT Teams: Work alongside Windows and network administrators to ensure seamless cross-platform compatibility. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Expertise in macOS and iOS device management in an enterprise environment. • * Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager). • * Strong knowledge of Apple security frameworks, encryption, and access controls. • * Proficiency in Bash, Python, or AppleScript for automation and scripting. • * Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi configuration). • * Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and cloud-based storage solutions. • * Experience with Apple DEP (Device Enrollment Program) and VPP (Volume Purchase Program). • * Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently. • Experience • * 3+ years of experience managing Apple devices in an enterprise setting. • * Experience with IT support, system administration, or enterprise mobility management. • * Background in working with cross-platform IT environments (Windows/macOS integration is a plus). • Working Hours • * Full-time role (40 hours per week). • * Flexible work schedule with the possibility of remote work. • * Some on-site visits may be required based on business needs. • * Occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance and upgrades. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • * Strong written and verbal communication skills. • * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • * Passion for Apple products and staying updated on the latest technology trends. • * Customer service mindset with the ability to train and support end users. • Benefits • * Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. • * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. • * 401(k) with company matching. • * Generous PTO and paid holidays. • * Employee discounts on Apple products and services. • * Career development and training opportunities. • * Hybrid work flexibility. • Why Join Apple Inc.?
