Position: Litigation Paralegal – Long-Term Care Defense Location: Remote (Preference for Tennessee; hybrid options available in Tampa and Louisville) Compensation: Starting at $75,000 About the Role We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our long-term care defense team. This position offers flexibility and autonomy while working closely with attorneys on complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting cases through all phases of litigation, particularly those involving long-term care liability. Core Responsibilities • Prepare and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. • Track deadlines and manage litigation calendars. • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and vendors to gather records and evidence. • Assist with administrative tasks as needed within a small, collaborative team. • File documents electronically in Tennessee courts. Qualifications • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years as a litigation paralegal; long-term care defense experience preferred (plaintiff-side experience considered). • Education: Paralegal certificate is a plus but not mandatory. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, OneDrive, and SharePoint; eDiscovery experience is advantageous. • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
