Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Audiologist for a part-time, 1-day-a-week position to perform comprehensive hearing tests. This is a fee-for-service, 1099/per-unit opportunity that pays $20 per 15 minute audiogram. The Audiologist will conduct audiological evaluations, proficiently analyze data, and prepare reports used in the evaluation of Social Security disability benefit applications. Responsibilities: Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments, including gathering audiometry, tympanometry, and hearing aid evaluations of applicants. Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data. Report: Create a comprehensive diagnostic report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicant’s condition(s). Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily. Qualifications: Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree. Valid state audiology licensure and ASHA certification. Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation. Experience in a medical office setting or private practice is preferred. Why work for IMA?
