Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess high-quality planned lessons for Year 3 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal development.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive, respectful atmosphere.

Essential Qualifications:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Solid understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and key stage 2 teaching strategies.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience teaching Year 3 or in a similar primary school setting.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and be flexible in a supply role.
