Role Summary
Looking for an experienced Windchill Data Migration Architect with strong expertise in PLM domain and Windchill data migration. The candidate will lead migration projects, design strategies, and ensure smooth data transformation from legacy/non-PLM systems to Windchill.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end data migration projects in Windchill
• Understand and work on Windchill data model, workflows, and configurations
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation
• Migrate data from non-PLM systems to Windchill
• Use tools like WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator) and site consolidation utilities
• Automate migration using scripting (Java or similar)
• Work with CAD data & engineering document systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders and guide team members.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in Windchill (Technical)
• Good knowledge of PLM concepts
• Hands-on in data migration methodologies & best practices
• Experience with Core Java / scripting
• Knowledge of data mapping & validation techniques
• Familiarity with CAD data handling.
