Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Tutor Center Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our two Hamilton County locations in Chattanooga and Hixson. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for managing and motivating our team of instructors, developing student education plans, and driving center performance metrics. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center, ensuring that students receive high-quality instruction and support.
- Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees to provide individualized instruction in a group setting via in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
- Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth and outreach.
- Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students, and develop strategies to drive center growth and profitability.
- Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans to help students achieve their full potential.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress, and ensure that students and parents are satisfied with our services.
- Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success, and develop strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in math education.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment, and ensure that our centers are welcoming and inclusive for all students.
Essential Qualifications
- A passion for math and working with students, and a commitment to making a positive impact on young lives.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members.
- The ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities, and a talent for motivating and developing others.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained, and a willingness to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, and a strong understanding of math concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- A completed Bachelor's Degree in education, math, or a related field, and a strong academic background.
- Previous management or leadership experience, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Previous customer relationships and sales experience, and a talent for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
