We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Transition Specialist Teacher to join our team at Hillsboro School District. As a Transition Specialist Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting and developing successful learning for students, performing instructional and related duties in accordance with District Policies and terms of the teacher contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and develop successful learning for students
- Perform instructional and related duties in accordance with District Policies and terms of the teacher contract
- Maintain a cooperative attitude with staff, parents, and students
- Effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
Requirements:
- Valid State of Oregon Teaching License with correct endorsement
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet-based applications
