Job Overview: Process Analyst
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Analyst to join our Financial Risk & Controls team. As a Process Analyst, you will play a critical role in building a world-class internal control environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify risks, design controls, and provide risk insights to develop innovative risk management solutions. Your expertise and passion for risk management will help drive business initiatives and core retail operations, ensuring the continued success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify risks, design controls, and provide risk insights to develop innovative risk management solutions
- Build strong partnerships across Financial, Technology, and Business Risk Groups to provide consulting services and guidance on internal controls
- Proactively identify existing and emerging risks, helping maintain a comprehensive internal control program for the company
- Work with business partners to develop and update internal control documentation (process maps, risk management matrices, process stories, etc.)
- Stay informed about various systems and applications in use, utilizing continuous improvement strategies to manage the environment
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration)
- Four years or equivalent experience, preferably in auditing or accounting
- 2+ years of internal or external audit and/or internal audit experience
- Experience with control and enterprise risk management concepts (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley compliance)
- Demonstrated strong professional judgment, critical thinking, and written/oral communication skills
- Experience using data and analytical tools, including Excel, visualization solutions, and other automation methods to solve business problems
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CISA, or similar designation
- Experience in IT risk assessment in financial business processes, including automated controls and interface monitoring
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
