Job Overview: Setting the Strategy for Generative AI in Store Operations
As a Strategy Manager - Generative AI, Store Operations, you will play a pivotal role in defining the short- and long-term roadmaps for leveraging Generative AI to support our store partners. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technology, to ensure the development of scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Generative AI across the organization, and you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Use Cases: Leverage internal and external research to build a portfolio of use cases for utilizing Generative AI to solve store partners' problems and enhance customer experiences.
- Storytelling and Vision: Use your storytelling skills to help the organization envision the future and build momentum for the work, ensuring that stakeholders are aligned and excited about the potential of Generative AI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams like Technology to ensure the development of quickly scalable solutions that meet business needs and drive results.
- Leadership: Set goals, develop teams, and promote confidence and teamwork, supporting company programs for overall success.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage business unit processes aligned with company goals, ensuring that our strategy is executed effectively.
- Communication: Educate your team on policy and practice changes, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
- Presentations and Insights: Create structured presentations highlighting business issues, insights, and recommendations for executive leadership, driving informed decision-making.
- Project Management: Lead strategic problem-solving, develop hypotheses, and guide detailed analyses, managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Partner Development: Inspire and challenge partners to achieve business results, complete performance reviews, and ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in strategic management consulting, data analysis, and leadership. Specifically, we're looking for candidates with:
- 4+ years of experience in strategic management consulting
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis and modeling
- 2+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to executive-level audiences
- 2+ years of experience leading teams
While not required, experience in retail operations, AI, or machine learning is a plus, as is a background in innovation and strategy development.
