Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Senior Azure Data Engineer. The role involves designing and implementing data engineering workflows, developing robust data pipelines, and managing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. Daily responsibilities include creating data models, optimizing data architecture, and supporting data warehousing and analytics to enable insights and drive decision-making.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling to design and implement scalable data solutions
• Expertise in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing to ensure data quality and accessibility
• Strong skills in Data Analytics to perform advanced analysis and support data-driven decision-making
• Experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala is a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
