Job Description – SQL Developer with DevOps Experience
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute SQL scripts for database updates and enhancements
• Participate in database deployment activities using DevOps tools and practices
• Take ownership of assigned user stories and deliver within sprint timelines
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
• Perform unit testing and ensure code quality for all database changes
• Identify and implement improvements in deployment and DevOps processes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers and QA
Required Skills
• years of experience in SQL development and database engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, scripting)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of database deployment processes
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
