Mine (formerly Fizz) is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to build consumer applications that reach a large user base. The role offers the opportunity to work independently and with the engineering team on projects like features for their AI money advisor and other major products.
Responsibilities
- Come join our engineering team for Summer 2026 (and potentially beyond!) and build products that reach 100k+ new users monthly!
- We're looking for someone who is passionate about building best-in-class consumer applications end-to-end
- You’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and in tandem with our top-tier engineering team
- Projects might include building features for our AI money advisor, our card, and other major products that haven't been announced yet
Skills
- Strong backend and/or web development skills (TypeScript and React preferred)
- Experience shipping real projects (mobile app, API, tooling, etc.)
- Comfortable owning tasks independently
- Self-directed learner who learns by doing
- Familiarity with AI/LLM basics (RAG, agents) is a plus
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems)
- Git, CI/CD, and cloud experience (e.g., AWS/GCP) preferred
- Product sense and bias for action; can prioritize impact
- Clear communication; collaborative within a small team
- Eligible to work full-time over summer (preference for in-person in NYC)
- Interested in potentially converting to full-time post-grad
- Full-stack experience
- Git, CI/CD, and cloud experience (e.g., AWS/GCP)
