Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is a nonprofit, applied research division of Georgia Institute of Technology. They are seeking an intern for the Applied Systems Laboratory to assist with systems integration and software development for Department of Defense projects.
Responsibilities
- Creation of software requirements
- Design of software components
- Implementation of embedded software
- Integration and test of embedded software
- Creation of software technical data packages
Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Science and Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Part-Time Intern– Must be registered for 6+ credit hours
- Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance
- Experience with Python
- Experience developing software in C/C++
- Experience with embedded systems software development
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience
- Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
