Title: SAM Pro (ServiceNow) & ITOM Visibility Governance Consultant Location: Orlando, FL/Miami, FL/Tampa, FL - REMOTE Duration: 6 months+ Description: • We are seeking a SAM Pro (ServiceNow) & ITOM Visibility Governance Consultant Document roles and responsibilities: • (RACI) for Software Asset Management (SAM) across Segments and coordinate Segment engagement kickoff activities. Define and document the entitlements intake process (contract submission, validation, and system loading). • Establish product owner roles for SAM and ITOM Visibility, including backlog ownership, release prioritization, and coordination with the SAM platform owner. • Align with DWS on in scope publishers and prioritize roadmap and methodology for implementation. • Define escalation paths for data ownership disputes or process conflicts and ensure clear accountability across stakeholders. • Align with the client on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) health by assessing the current state and documenting a fit for purpose governance model; establish a CMDB governance board to ensure ITOM and SAM data accuracy. Qualifications: • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data platform and SAM governance frameworks, including experience building SAM RACI models across license owners, analysts, procurement, and IT asset managers. • Strong technical expertise with MID Server architecture, deployment patterns, credential vaulting, proxy configuration, and upgrade management, as well as ServiceNow Discovery (IP ranges, classifications, reconciliation, CI duplication). • Ability to design and operationalize a discovery governance framework with CI lifecycle policies, ownership models, and stale CI remediation; experience creating run state documentation (runbooks, governance charters, exception processes) and building KPIs/SLAs for CMDB health, discovery coverage, and license compliance including dashboard development. • CIS SAM (Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management). • Hands on experience with publisher normalization, reconciliation rules, and Effective License Position (ELP) calculations.
