PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are The Valfers, a high-end, founder-led travel brand specializing in "Quiet Luxury" and epicurean journeys across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
We already have a development agency handling the WordPress/Elementor build. We do NOT need a developer. We need a Senior UI/UX Designer with a flawless eye for editorial design to create our visual mockups in Figma.
We need an artist who understands how to design a digital magazine that happens to sell travel. We will hand your Figma files to our developers to build pixel-for-pixel.
Our Visual Benchmarks:
- Priorworld.com (Our North Star for structure and balance)
- Belmond.com (For typography and old-world elegance)
- Aman.com (For negative space, muted tones, and minimalism)
WHAT WE NEED (The Deliverables in Figma):
Desktop and Mobile mockups for 8 core templates (we will provide the web structure for your guidance)
1. The Homepage: Balancing our private travel community, limited edition tours, and our journal.
2. The Destination Hub: A regional landing page (e.g., Andalusia) that tells the story of the territory.
3. The "Limited Edition" Tour Page: A masterclass in laying out a complex 7-day itinerary (e.g., Andalusia Food & Wine) without it looking like a cluttered brochure. It must feel cinematic.
4. Private Travel Design: A page detailing our bespoke trip planning services.
5. The Club: A gateway page for our private membership.
6. The Epicurean Journal: Needs to look like a high-end food/travel magazine layout.
7. Contact page
8. The Limited Edition special with Noor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be a master of typography (mixing elegant serifs with clean sans-serifs) and negative space.
- You must understand how to use color with restraint: utilizing our brand's vibrant Orange strictly as an accent for conversion, while keeping the rest of the site incredibly sober, earthy (deep blues, bronzes), and breathing with white space.
! Please start your proposal with the word "Sherry" so I know you read this.
TO APPLY:
Please link directly to 2 or 3 projects in your portfolio that demonstrate an "Editorial," "Quiet Luxury," or high-end hospitality aesthetic. If your portfolio looks like standard SaaS, tech startups, or corporate templates, please do not apply.
