About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Senior Non-QM Loan Originators on behalf of a private real estate lender focused on residential bridge loans and ground-up construction financing. These fully remote positions are ideal for professionals located in North Carolina or those with a proven record of originating within the NC market.
The opportunity is designed for high-performing individuals who bring a commercial-style sales approach and an established, self-sourced book of business. Compensation: Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and documented production over the previous three years.
• Average Base Salary: Approximately $50,000
• Commission: Basis Point (BPS) structure
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $140K+ expected in the first year
• Compensation Options: May include base + commission or commission-only, based on current earnings and preferred structure
• Additional Reimbursements: Travel and cell phone expenses

Responsibilities
• Originate and close residential bridge loans and ground-up construction loans
• Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and recurring client relationships
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified borrowers
• Collect and organize borrower documentation and financials
• Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive market analysis
• Maintain high standards of client service and transaction quality
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bridge loans, DSCR, Fix & Flip, or ground-up construction financing
• Proven loan production averaging at least $2.5M per month over the past 12 months
• Valid NMLS license required
• Demonstrated ability to self-source business and maintain strong client relationships
• In-depth understanding of the North Carolina residential real estate market
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Goal-driven, proactive, and adaptable in a competitive sales environment
• Occasional travel may be required for training or company events
