This role leads local marketing initiatives end-to-end, partnering closely with global teams while operating with strong local autonomy. As Story expands its focus toward AI-native infrastructure and applications, Korea remains a key market not only for developers and ecosystem partners, but also for end users and retail audiences. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution, with responsibility for driving awareness, engagement, and adoption across Korea through community programs, campaigns, and local activations. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution, with responsibility for driving awareness, engagement, and adoption across Korea through community programs, campaigns, and local activations. What You'll Do: - Own and execute Korea’s marketing and community strategy aligned with Story’s global priorities, localizing campaigns for Korean culture, behavior, and market dynamics - Lead the growth and stewardship of Story’s Korean community, balancing infrastructure credibility with accessible, end-user-facing education - Plan and execute integrated marketing initiatives across community, campaigns, content, partnerships, social, and local channels - Serve as the primary Korea marketing lead, working closely with global Marketing, Communications, and BD teams - Lead local execution for major industry moments; for example, Korea Blockchain Week, Story-hosted events, meetups, and community activations - Build and manage relationships with Korean KOLs, creators, and partners who can authentically amplify Story’s narrative across crypto, AI, and adjacent audiences - Surface market insights, community sentiment, and adoption signals from Korea to inform global messaging, product decisions, and go-to-market strategy - Track and report on performance across community growth, engagement, campaigns, and activations, sharing learnings with global leadership Who You Are: - 8 or more years of experience marketing to Korean audiences - Experience in Web3, AI, fintech, or other technical product environments, with an understanding of crypto community dynamics - Proven ability to localize global marketing strategy for the Korean market - Strong execution experience across campaigns, events, partnerships, and community programs - Native Korean speaker with strong English proficiency to collaborate with a global team - Highly autonomous and comfortable owning a market end-to-end - Analytical mindset with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to awareness, engagement, and adoption outcomes Nice To Have: - Experience marketing infrastructure, platforms, or developer-focused products - Background in consumer or fintech products with strong end-user engagement - Prior experience working closely with global communications or PR teams
