About the Role and Team
You will lead a global team of 26 FTE, managing company-wide liquidity and banking infrastructure, and developing innovative solutions for the working capital requirements of over $20bn of customer funds.
This role manages the front office treasury department, overseeing banking relationships, driving funding operations across the payments partner ecosystem, and managing all aspects of Zepz’s treasury risk, including interest rate and foreign currency risk. The primary goal is to transition the Treasury department into a 'best in class' function, focusing on the following core areas:
Funding & Strategy:
Lead optimization strategies, secure funding from external banking partners, provide critical financial analysis and forecasting to executive management, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR).
Cash Management & FX:
Oversee and direct daily cash positions, refine cash flow forecasts, manage daily funding transfers, settlements, and bank account administration. Collaborate with the FX desk to execute trades, minimizing currency risk.
Treasury Operations & Systems:
Oversee daily transactions (transfers, payments, settlements), maintain day-to-day relationships with external banks and partners, and partner with the Finance Technology team to ensure adequate oversight and improved efficiency of the Treasury Management System (TMS).
Governance & Team:
Establish OKRs, train team members on developmental goals, manage the company’s banking infrastructure, oversee audit requests, and update/enforce Treasury policies.
