We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Systems & Infrastructure Management team, driving the technology and operational risk management agenda for our Risk ecosystem.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to oversee the Systems & Infrastructure Management function within our Risk organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our risk ecosystem technology platforms, including GRC tools such as Archer. You will work closely with our Director to define and implement processes for identifying, assessing, and collecting 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) capability needs for Operational Risk Management execution. Your expertise will help drive the development and maintenance of enterprise first-line foundational control components, ensuring alignment with our strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in serving as the 1LoD Product Manager for Risk ecosystem technology platform needs, providing consolidated inputs to risk systems, platforms, and capabilities.
- Support the definition and enhancement of processes for identifying, assessing, and collecting 1LoD capability needs for Operational Risk management execution, including PRSA and Issues Management.
- Coordinate systems and infrastructure requirements assessment processes for 1LoD risk/control purposes, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction.
- Collaborate with Application Owners to secure funding and prioritization to ensure the Applications fulfill 1LoD Operational Risk Management and execution needs.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise first-line foundational control components, such as process taxonomy/inventory and first-line RCSA/PRSA methodology.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in operational risk management, preferably within Risk and/or Internal Audit functions.
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools, such as Archer and other related platforms.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and the regulatory environment, with some experience working with external regulators.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a matrix organization, including working with client-facing businesses, Global Risk & Compliance, Technology, Legal (GCO), Finance, Global Services Group, and Internal Audit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications.
- Experience working with or leading a team, both locally and internationally.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong consultation, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in supporting transformation and change initiatives within an organization.
