Job Summary
As a Senior Engineer at blithequark, you'll work collaboratively across various teams, including Salesforce CRM, Infrastructure, Architecture, Release Management, Application Security, and Business Product Owners. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and delivering critical solutions, transforming legacy workflows, and reimagining processes to provide a friction-less experience for our customers while maintaining the highest standards of protection and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the evolving needs of our business.
- Drive product definition and leverage your technical skills to identify the right solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle.
- Lead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
- Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from both a business and technology perspective.
- Utilize developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle to perform advanced-level Java application design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
- Mentor other engineers, sharing best practices and improving processes within and across teams.
- Engage in continuous delivery and infrastructure as code, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot).
- Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems, with a focus on reliability and scaling.
- Advanced understanding of DevOps Concepts and Cloud Architecture, with experience in continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Flutter and React.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and interact with clients and sponsors.
- Experience with Salesforce standard objects/records, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationships.
- Knowledge of building and configuring flows, and process builders.
- Experience with Salesforce Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Aura / LWC components.

Our compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of $66,000 to $185,000 per annum, depending on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, your work experience, education, and market considerations.
