We are hiring a Senior Database Administrator (Sr DBA) for a full-time remote role. Work with modern data systems using MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms including AWS and GCP.
This role focuses on database performance, scalability, and automation. You will own database architecture, support engineering teams, and build reliable, high-availability systems. Strong growth opportunity with hands-on impact across infrastructure and data platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years DBA experience
• Expert in MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL
• AWS or GCP experience
• Linux proficiency
• Performance tuning, HA, and troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• English (B2+)
Desired Skills & Experience
• Terraform, Puppet, Bash, or Python
• Replication, partitioning, sharding
• Monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
• Team leadership experience
