La Tourangelle’s eCommerce business is growing and we’re seeking an eager and capable intern to support our sales team. This is a hands-on learning role that will work closely with our eCom Sales Manager to ensure the growth of our brand’s revenue with digital retailers. The intern will be able to blend their love of good food with their desire to gain knowledge and expertise in the ever-changing eCom space.
Reports to: Sales Manager, eCommerce
Location: Remote - La Tourangelle, E-Comm Department New York, NY
Hours: 20 hours per week with an opportunity for a full-time role in the future
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cross-functional reporting – Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, functionally:
o Build reports with sales, supply chain, and marketing metrics
o Make recommendations on how we can optimize eCom sell-through
• eCommerce platform updates
o New item set-up
o Submit tickets to fix potential problems
o Partner with the Marketing team on content changes and new product opportunities
• Support the eCommerce channel
o Ensure a strong customer centric journey by tracking and responding to reviews
o Spot trends in our products and emerging categories
o Order samples for customers
• Work with the eCommerce Sales Manager on customer meeting preparation
o Opportunity for hands on experience managing eCom customers
• Strong interest in digital and eCommerce sales
• Working toward bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Love of food, interest in CPG sales and marketing
• Ability to analyze data and understanding that meaningful stories can be crafted from data sets
• Can-do attitude, attention to detail and strong follow-through with a foundation of strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in variable conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
• Microsoft Office skills, most preferably PowerPoint and Excel
