As a Sales Development Representative for PracticeBeat, you'll be responsible for executing high-volume cold outreach to qualified medical practice prospects and booking product demonstrations for Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily high-volume cold outreach to qualified medical practice prospects across multiple channels including email, LinkedIn, phone, and targeted campaigns
- Book qualified product demonstrations with healthcare professionals for Account Executives at a predictable, consistent pace of 20-25 qualified meetings per month
- Research and identify ideal prospects including practice owners, administrators, and decision-makers who match our ideal customer profile across various medical specialties
- Craft personalized, compelling outreach that resonates with busy healthcare professionals and clearly articulates PracticeBeat's value proposition
- Maintain detailed prospecting records in CRM system, tracking all touchpoints, responses, and qualification criteria
- Pilot and test different outbound sales cadences including email sequences, social selling approaches, and multi-touch campaigns to optimize response rates
- Collaborate with sales leadership to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations including activity metrics, response rates, and meeting booking goals
- Implement coaching feedback from managers and Account Executives to continuously improve messaging, timing, and approach effectiveness
- Provide valuable feedback to help iterate and improve our overall sales process based on prospect interactions and market response
- Optimize workflows and processes to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining high-quality prospect experiences
- Cultivate trusted relationships with medical practice professionals through excellent written communication, confident phone presence, and the ability to address initial concerns and move conversations forward
- Conduct thorough discovery during initial conversations to understand practice pain points, current patient acquisition challenges, and growth objectives
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria including practice size, growth stage, technical readiness, and decision-making authority
- Maintain nurture sequences for prospects not ready to buy immediately but who represent future opportunities
Skills
- 0-2 years of experience in high-volume outbound sales with demonstrated success in prospecting and lead generation
- Proven track record of exceeding business targets including monthly quotas, prospecting goals, and new opportunity creation
- Healthcare industry interest and/or experience with natural curiosity about medical practice growth and remote selling to healthcare professionals
- Technology sales aptitude with comfort level demonstrating and discussing software products and their business impact
- Extremely detail-oriented and process-driven with ability to manage multiple prospect sequences and follow systematic approaches
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and software platforms
- Excellent communication skills including professional written communication for email outreach and confident phone presence for cold calling
