VetsEZ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Project Manager/Scrum Master to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a key member of our team, you will lead Agile teams in delivering cutting-edge software solutions, managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate scrum meetings, eliminating blockers and promoting collaboration, transparency, and innovation across cross-functional Agile software development teams.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end project management process for technology and software development projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Promote Agile quality practices, coordinate across organizations, and serve as a resource to answer questions and advise on process improvements.
- Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics, such as burndown charts and velocity, and work directly with senior-level client leadership teams.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management, with a focus on leading cross-functional teams and delivering software solutions.
- SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification.
- Proven experience with large-scale software development, data management, and software integration projects, as well as experience with automating application deployments, scaling, and management.
- Strong familiarity with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or similar, and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban agile methods.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile frameworks.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
