The Project Analyst will be responsible for ensuring profitability throughout a project's lifecycle by designing interactive dashboards, analyzing complex data sets, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to deliver clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders ensuring visual consistency, data accuracy, and user-friendly design across all reporting assets
- Extract, clean, and structure data from various sources (SQL databases, Excel, Salesforce) to support reporting and analytics needs
- Analyze complex data sets to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies and translate analytical findings into meaningful business recommendations and strategic insights
- Convert high volumes of data into meaningful and actionable reporting via Power BI, Power Query, SQL
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment on project goals
- Continuously enhance reporting capabilities, automate recurring analyses, and support ongoing data literacy within the organization
- Build DAX measures and expressions in Power BI datasets to enhance data models and enable self-service analytics
- Collaborate with team members to peer review reports, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a high standard of data accuracy and consistency throughout the team
- Handle other projects as assigned
Skills
- Strong PowerBI skillset (required)
- SQL
- Power BI Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
- You are proficient in Microsoft office suites and an advanced Excel user
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have excellent time management, organizational planning, and problem-solving skills
- You follow instructions, respond to management direction, and keep commitments
- Able to manage, establish, and communicate clear goals and objectives
- Able to work remotely
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Salesforce familiarity preferred
