We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced Outbound Sales Representatives to help introduce AI-powered solutions into traditional industrial sectors. This role focuses on selling advanced AI technologies into industrial manufacturing, metals distribution, and heavy industry supply chains. The ideal candidate understands relationship-driven B2B sales environments, RFQ-based purchasing workflows, and long-term supplier relationships common in industrial markets. Key Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing deals Generate pipeline through cold calls, email outreach, trade shows, and industry networking Sell consultatively into operations teams, procurement departments, and executive leadership Navigate RFQ-driven purchasing workflows and quoting processes Build long-term relationships with: • Operations Managers • Plant Managers • Procurement & Purchasing Teams • Executive Leadership Consistently meet or exceed sales quota targets Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts Provide feedback to product and AI teams on industry requirements and market needs Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: 2–7 years of B2B sales experience Experience selling into or working within industries such as: • Metals distribution • Steel service centres • Industrial manufacturing • Building materials • Heavy industry supply chains Experience with consultative or technical sales cycles Comfort with outbound prospecting and building new business pipelines Familiarity with RFQ-driven procurement processes Proven history of quota attainment Priority Regions Candidates based in the following regions may be especially strong fits: Midwest Chicago Cleveland Detroit Pittsburgh Indianapolis Southeast Houston Birmingham Tampa Charlotte Northeast Philadelphia New Jersey corridor Remote candidates are also welcome if they have strong industry networks in these markets.
