Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TalentFish is casting a line for a Data & Analytics Engineer. This remote role provides data engineering and analytics support to a fast-paced project, utilizing SQL, Power Platform, and Microsoft tools to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
• Develop data collection, modeling, and analysis strategies to inform executive decision-making
• Design and execute cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to provide client insights that drive efficiencies
• Support the development and implementation of data governance and security strategies across Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
• Facilitate integration between Databricks and Fabric via OneLake shortcuts and Delta Sharing to prevent data fragmentation
• Support Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams in building robust and scalable data solutions
• Leverage AI capabilities and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting and strategic insight
• Manage and optimize data environments—defining environments, managing ALM processes, and ensuring system stability and performance
• Support environment planning, deployment, updates, and compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Direct the data request and prioritization process, ensuring efficient delivery and continuous improvement
• Prepare reports and presentations to executives and management teams highlighting business functions, key metrics, and performance trends
• Manage lifecycle and performance optimization across multiple data systems
Skills
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong technical expertise in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Infrastructure Technologies
• Solid understanding of SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, OneLake, Power BI, Power Platform
• Experience in Azure DevOps, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts
• Proven ability to perform as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced project team
• Experience managing or collaborating with offshore teams through Application Managed Services (AMS)
• Strong Data Engineering, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
