We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst who will analyze financial statements and provide insights to departmental management while collaborating with a functional team to support corporate goals.
Responsibilities
• Analyze financial data and reports, uncover patterns and trends, and provide insights to assist management in making informed financial decisions
• Update monthly financial data management applications, publish management reports, and prepare various quarterly reports and submission files
• Assist the department in implementing projects to enhance performance, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs
• Perform budget/variance analysis, peer analysis, ALCO reporting, charge off and delinquency reporting, input actual monthly results into financial models, maintain watch list loans within the CECL model, preparation of call report schedules, and other tasks as assigned
Skills
• 4-year College Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• Experience in a financial services industry segment, Credit Union experience preferred
• Ability to understand model outputs and present meaningful results to management
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities as needed
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other financial analytic tools
• Budgeting or forecasting experience is a plus
• Knowledge of various allocation methodologies and modeling documentation processes is a plus
• Power BI experience is a plus
