[Remote] Content Strategist

The Content Strategist will be responsible for managing and improving the library of financial education content while collaborating with the Data and Growth team to enhance user engagement and search visibility. Responsibilities - Own and improve Upsolve's financial education content library, focusing on user engagement and search visibility - Test and evolve content strategies as search behavior shifts (including AI-driven search) - Partner with our Data and Growth team to use analytics in guiding what we write, update, and prioritize - Manage freelance writers and editors to maintain high-quality, consistent content - Support and oversee email marketing campaigns - Help maintain and refine Upsolve's style guide and editorial standards Skills - 1-2 years of experience in content, writing, editing, strategy, or a related field - Strong writing and editing skills. You will need to make complex financial topics simple, clear, and human - Genuine excitement about Upsolve's mission - Comfort working with data, or eagerness to learn - Curiosity about SEO and how people discover content daily - Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a remote, fast-moving environment - A generalist mindset — you like learning across functions - Experience with or interest in personal finance, debt, or financial education - Experience email marketing or drip campaign strategy - Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Contentful, or CMS platforms Benefits - Monthly healthcare reimbursement - 401(k) plan - Annual work from home/tech stipend - Unlimited PTO policy Company Overview - Upsolve helps low-income individuals to file for bankruptcy for free.
