Job Summary:
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering an effortless medication management experience to our customers. You will be responsible for entering patient and order information, providing quality customer service, and processing new and refill prescriptions. Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient and order information into the pharmacy system
- Provide quality customer service to patients, providers, and local pharmacies
- Collect, organize, and evaluate patient information
- Process new and refill prescriptions
- Communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacies by telephone
- Perform other tasks assigned in a fast-paced environment
Work from Home Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be able to provide a suitable work environment that meets the following requirements:
- A dedicated workspace with ergonomically sound seating, lighting, and writing surfaces
- Adequate noise control and privacy provisions
- Freedom from distractions and interruptions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of Amazon Pharmacy information and systems
Basic Qualifications:
- Must physically reside in Massachusetts by date of hire
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA)
- Meet work from home requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a remote setting
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
