Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper for Small Businesses Location Remote, U.S. based only Job Type Full time Salary Starting at 42,000 per year, with room for growth for strong performers About the Role We are a growing outsourced accounting firm supporting small businesses across the U.S. We act as our clients full accounting department, handling bookkeeping, payroll support, AP, AR, and higher level accounting needs. We are looking for a solid, experienced bookkeeper or accountant who can jump into client work quickly. This role is best suited for someone who already knows how to manage books independently and is comfortable working across multiple clients in a fully remote environment. Minimal training will be provided, so you must already be confident in your accounting skills and day to day execution. What You Will Do You will manage accounting work for multiple small business clients at the same time. This includes month end close, reconciliations, journal entries, reviewing financials, and communicating clearly with internal team members. You will work primarily in QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets. What We Are Looking For Strong experience with QuickBooks Online Comfortable working in spreadsheets, including reconciliations and analysis Prior experience managing books for small businesses Ability to work independently and manage your own workload remotely Strong attention to detail and follow through Clear written communication skills U.S. based and authorized to work in the U.S. Nice to Have Experience working in an outsourced accounting or bookkeeping firm Exposure to multiple industries Interest in growing into more senior accounting or advisory work over time Compensation and Growth Starting salary is 42,000 per year.
