FCC is a federal Crown corporation dedicated to supporting Canadian agriculture and food. As a Relationship Manager, you will manage relationships with local producers, tailor financing packages, and develop a loan portfolio to help customers succeed in their business needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to build financing packages that meet their business needs
- Be accountable for the execution of loans, including sales, loan structure, gathering and preparing financial documentation, securing approvals, and collaborating with internal teams to successfully complete financing
- Build relationships with FCC customers and internal partners
- Look for opportunities to build your loan portfolio
- Travel to customer farms and offices to understand their business needs and provide tailored support
- Analyze customer financial information
- Create, process and approve new credit facilities
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, commerce or a related field
- Minimum one year of related experience in ag finance, lending, credit analysis, business development or sales (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partners
- Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships, including engaging with customers, centres of influence or community partners
- Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel for customer meetings
- Passion for agriculture, with knowledge of farming operations or agribusiness environments
- Customer service experience, ideally in a financial, agricultural or advisory setting
