Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home We are seeking Registered Nurse Midwives/Registered Midwives to join our growing HAH services across multiple sites in Perth, WA. You will provide nursing care to patients in their place of residence within the Perth metro community. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated and professional clinical team who provide excellent standards of care to patients throughout the community. Positions will be offered on a on casual basis working out of Midland, Mt Lawley or Murdoch sites. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, generally visiting patients between 8am to 4pm. The Position - Responsible for providing the necessary care to meet the identified needs of a patient.  - Interview and examine the patient (mother and or baby(s) and document the assessment findings and interventions applied. - Whilst promoting an environment of confidence, confidentiality and respect, identify through discussion with the patient, family and relevant others, actual and potential problems. - Assess and document the anticipated needs of the patient during and following the episode of care. - Perform all planned and required nursing care, setting priorities and reestablishing priorities in changing circumstances. - Routinely review the results of diagnostic procedures and investigations. - Provide a quiet, pleasant environment offering reassurance and comfort to the patient, infant and others present. - Ensure all necessary equipment is available, adequately prepared and in safe working order. Successful applicants will hold a valid State Drivers Licence and be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Midwife or Registered Midwife. Registered Nurses/Midwives must have minimum three years post graduate experience in acute nursing and have demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Midwife.
